Renaming Streets Would Cause ‘Big Headaches’

Editor, The News-Gazette:

I’m writing to you about street renaming.

The name change impacts all residents of that street. They must change their mailing addresses, deeds, wills, bank accounts (checks), licenses, etc. – all things with their address on them.

I don’t think the minimal charge imposed is too much to ask for considering the big headaches this will cause. No matter what the street name – everyone will not be happy.

Why is the history of USA and founding fathers (good or bad) being deleted? All history matters.
