Hopkins Green was the location of the area’s first-ever Pride Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5. The four-hour festival drew a diverse crowd of people of all ages – and a few protesters (below). There were activities for young children as well as live music and informational booths from sponsors 50 Ways Rockbridge, CARE, Project Horizon and the NAACP.
