PM Netters Fall To Narrows In District Semifinals
Tuesday, April 6 – The Parry McCluer High School volleyball team suffered a 3-0 road loss to Narrows in the Pioneer District semifinals on Tuesday night.
Top seed Narrows (9-3) defeated the fourth-seeded Fighting Blues (1-10) by a score of 25-5, 25-18, 25-13 to advance to the district finals, where they will play host to second-seeded Eastern Montgomery on Thursday.
Alyssa Bishop led the Green Wave with seven kills and one block, while Lainey Stables collected 15 digs.
The Blues, who had beaten Highland County 3-1 in the quarterfinals on Monday for their first win of the year, are scheduled to play a plus-one match next week – allowed due to the short season – to conclude their season.
