PM Falls At Narrows In Pioneer Volleyball Quarters

Monday, Oct. 28 -- No. 3 seed Narrows secured a 3-1 home win over sixth-seeded Parry McCluer High School in the quarterfinals of the Pioneer District volleyball tournament.

The Green Wave (10-9) eliminated the Fighting Blues with a 25-14, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19 victory.

Chloe Persinger paced PM with seven kills, five digs and four service aces. Kennedi Burton notched four kills and three blocks for the Blues, while Grayson Shields recorded six assists, five digs and two aces.

PM's season comes to a close with a 3-18 overall record. Narrows will travel to second-seeded Craig County for the Pioneer semifinals on Tuesday.
