PM Boys Bolt Past Chargers

Tuesday, Feb. 11 – The Parry McCluer High School boys basketball team rolled to a 71-39 home victory over Bath County on Tuesday night in Buena Vista.

On PM’s senior night, the Blues (16-4 overall, 11-0 district) had 10 players score. Will Dunlap led all scorers with 21 points and nine rebounds. John Snider added 12 points and Ryan Perry and Durham Baker each chipped in seven.

Connor Call led Bath County (6-13, 5-5) with 13 points and Sean Flenner added 10 for the Chargers.

Before the game, the Blues honored their two seniors, Treveion St. Clair-Helm and Baris Esmeroglu.

After clinching the Pioneer District regular-season title yesterday with a 71-27 win at Highland County, the Blues came out hot. They raced out to a 19-7 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.

PM will close out its regular season with a district contest at Eastern Montgomery on Friday, starting with junior varsity action at 5:30 p.m.
