MICHAEL HARRIS

Michael Irvine Harris, 71, of Buena Vista died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at his home.

Born June 6, 1951, in Lexington, he was a son of the late James Russell Harris Sr. and Ellen Hostetter Harris.

He attended Neriah Baptist Church and worked at Modine Manufacturing. Michael loved spending time with his family and working on cars. He especially loved instilling his knowledge and wisdom over the years with his grandkids.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Beckner Harris; two daughters, Elizabeth Mays and Victoria Jessie; two grandchildren, Tabby Mays and Noah Harris, one greatgrandson, Walker Fox; sister, Sheila Swenson; and brother, James Harris II.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Neriah Baptist Church by Pastor Bill Cobble. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald Mc-Donald House, 2224 S. Jefferson St,, Roanoke, VA 24014.
