MARCUS MILLER

Marcus Ly n nwood “Cracker” Miller, 76, of Hopewell died July 24, 2022. He was born in Buena Vista and raised in Hopewell.

He was the son of the late James Henry Miller and Elsie Sheltman Miller.

In addition to his parents, Marcus was preceded in death by his brothers James and Calvin Miller and his sisters Kathleen Layne and Thelma Wilcher.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Aycock Miller; his sons Marcus and Michael Miller of Chesterfield; his daughter, Marcia Belcher of Carson; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and his sisters Mary Drain and Better Hanser.

He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and served in the Air Force for three years. He worked at the Firestone plant in Hopewell for 35 years.

He was buried in Hopewell on July 29.
