Kristi Lynn Snyder died Sunday, Aug. 30, in Lynchburg at the age of 48. She will be deeply missed by her family and all those who knew and loved her.

Kristi is survived by her daughter, Dara Sizemore, and son-in-law, Harold Sizemore; three grandchildren, Brodan Daryl Slone, Devin Alexander Sizemore and Cayleigh Elizabeth Sizemore; parents, Sandra and Kossuth Mitchell and Theodore and Susan Snyder; and her siblings Mary Beth Shafer, Theodore Snyder Jr., Lenore Pollard and Sherry Roy. Kristi was preceded in death by her brother Kossuth Mitchell II.

Kristi grew up in Buena Vista and Pippa Passes, Ky. She was known for her creativity and her gift for seeing the good in people. She loved animals, especially her dog Cowboy. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time in nature, camping with friends.

Kristi accepted Christ as her Savior when she was 11 years old and was baptized at West Side Baptist Church in Harrisonburg.

A memorial in celebration of Kristi’s life will be held at Bridge of Hope Christian Ministries in Pike County, Ky., on Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. N-G
