Joey entered this world during a blizzard and left it by his own hand on a cold, cloudy day. Despite this, he will be lovingly remembered for the warmth of his heart and soul. He was a supportive and loving partner and brother; a dutiful and compassionate son and grandson; and a dependable, fun, and steadfast friend to everyone he knew. He enjoyed his home life, spending time in nature, and having an IPA or two in the evenings. He will be sorely missed in perpetuity by all.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington where the service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Buena Vista Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 1 p.m.
