Jerry Flint, 75, of Lexington died June 21

Jerome “Jerry” Raymond Flint, 75, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

He was born April 6, 1947, in Lynchburg, the son of the late Raymond “Trixie” Lindsey Flint and Hilda Lorraine Henry Flint.

Jerry served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He retired from Northwest Hardwoods, originally Fitzgerald Log and Lumber, after 34-plus years of grading lumber and dry kiln supervisor. 

He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Flint Watkins, and brother, Gary Wayne Flint.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years, Lou Flint, “His Sunshine”; son, Jason Flint and wife Terri; daughters, Lisa Cash and husband Mike and Lynn Muterspaugh and husband Eric; grandchildren, Brandon, Amber, Cameron, Ashlyn and fiancé Dustin, Jayvion, Chaysen, Levi, Chelsea, Kaylea and husband Michael, Eva Grace, Braxton, Natalie, and Addison; great-grandchild, Sadie; brother, Barry Flint and wife Norma; and many nieces and nephews. 

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Adam Williams. Burial will follow at Green Hill Mausoleum.

Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, at Bolling, Grose and Lotts Funeral Home.  The family extends special thanks to the Hospice Team.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
