Jerry Douglas Burroughs, 68, of Lexington died Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at his home.

Born Feb. 16, 1952, in Welch, W.Va., he was a son of the late Kenneth Burroughs and Anna Katherine Corell Burroughs.

Jerry was a member of Lexington Presbyterian Church, and retired as a field engineer tech for Columbia Gas.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Burroughs; children, Brock Burroughs and fiancée Sara Stephens, and Betsy Woody and husband Will Woody; grandchildren, Parker Brooks Woody, Emma Wykle Woody and Avery Brynn Woody; aunt Louise McGavock and husband Jim; and brother-in-law Robert Mauck and wife Donna.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Alleghany Memorial Park with the Rev. Kelly Ann Rayle officiating.

Arrangements are by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory. N-G
