Imogene Carnahan Lotts, 79, of Natural Bridge died Oct. 13

Imogene Carnahan Lotts, 79, of Natural Bridge, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab.

Born on Sept. 18, 1941, in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Julian Carnahan and Lydia Hamilton Carnahan.

She was a retired bus driver for the Rockbridge County school system.

Imogene was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Raymond C. Lotts Jr.; and granddaughter Valarie Hatcher.

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy Gail and Tony Jenkins of Haw River, N.C., Lisa and Gary Coleman of Buena Vista, and Gina and John Hatcher of Lynchburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Charlotte Lotts of Millboro; nine grandchildren, Shannon Jenkins DeBruler (Tommy), James Adam Jenkins (Melissa), Daniel Wyatt Jenkins, Matthew Ray Hatcher (Rebecca), Carrie Broughman Chittum (Randy), Jo Beth Broughman, Lucy Paige Lotts Nielson (Matthew), Nathaniel Charles Lotts, and Jeffrey Wayne Coleman (Daisy); and 11 great-grandchildren, Logan, Brayden, Jordyn, Charlee, Kellan, Kendyl, Ralph, Gracie, Blake, Rossi and Jeremiah.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Green Hill Cemetery with Dr. Timmy Madison officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450 or the activity fund at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab, 3737 Catalpa Ave, Buena Vista, VA 24416. 

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
