HVAC Units To Be Replaced

HVAC units are being replaced at Central and Fairfield elementary schools this summer.

The Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on March 22 adopted a resolution to enter into an agreement with the Virginia Public School Authority to borrow up to $5 million to fund both projects through the VPSA’s pooled spring general obligation bond sale.

The HVAC units at both schools are approximately 20 years old and near the end of their respective life cycles for efficient and effective use. The Board of Supervisors and the School Board have been working together to secure the funding for these projects.
