Hospital Effort Commended

Recently I, along with many others, had the privilege of receiving a COVID-19 vaccination at our Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital here in Lexington.

It was an amazing experience. It was beautifully organized and efficient. All of the employees - from the parking lot to the vaccination area/waiting room - were friendly, polite, caring and highly professional. It was truly an impressive event.

The message was very clear, as confirmed by Greg Madsen, the hospital administrator, that “we are all in this together.” For those of us who were there for this clinic, we had the opportunity to witness and enjoy a true display of “team spirit.” Thank you very much for taking care of us.

Both my husband, Al, and I have at some time required the care and service of this hospital and we cannot applaud loudly enough the care that we received each time.

We personally and publicly praise and commend Greg Madsen and all of the hospital staff. (I wish I could call each one by name.) We are all so fortunate and proud to have this hospital in our community. Thank you to each and every one of you for what you do.
