Worship services continue each Sunday at High Bridge Presbyterian Church with adult Sunday school class beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the upstairs fellowship hall; all other classes are available by Zoom. Worship service follows at 11. All safety issues still continue with wearing of masks and social distancing and hand sanitizer stations are in place.

The Lord’s Supper will be observed Sunday, Nov. 22, during worship.

On Sunday, Nov. 15, the Presbyterian Women received the yearly Mission Thank Offering and the morning sermon was given by Dwinnie Shafer. A Minute for Mission to update members on the projects for our Mission Thank Offering was given by Tracy Tackett, Presbyterian Women member-at-large. Tracy also shared a solo during the morning worship service entitled “Rescue” composed by Lauren Daigle.

High Bridge was saddened to learn of the passing of two of its former members recently. Nancy Eversmann passed away Monday, Nov. 9, at her home in Columbia, S.C. Karen Bourne Smith, daughter of the late Bob and Jeanne Tolley Bourne, passed away Saturday, Nov. 14, at her home in Georgia.

The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry distribution day will be tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Safety precautions are taken by the volunteers. We have boxes packed and ready to be delivered to your car.

The pantry and surrounding areas salute our operations manager, Wayne Lee Hickman, for being voted Volunteer of the Year, an award given each year to a member of the community by the chamber of commerce. The surprise award presentation was made at the Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry located at 734 McCulloch Street in Glasgow Tuesday, Nov. 9, by members of the chamber.
