Goad’s Cruise-In Canceled, But Raffle Ongoing

The annual Goad’s Classic Cruise-In, originally scheduled for Sept 19, has been cancelled.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we feel this is the best way to keep everyone safe during this unprecedented time,” said a spokeswoman.

While the car show is canceled, the popular car raffle is happening, and tickets are still available at $20 each. All proceeds from this raffle will benefit Rockbridge Area Hospice. The first prize is a 2019 Ford F-150 and the second prize is a 2019 Chevy Trax. Tickets can be purchased online at www.goadsclassiccruisein.com. The winners’ names will be drawn on Dec. 1.

“We hope that everyone who is a participant, sponsor and/or fan of the Goad’s Classic Cruise-In understands that this was a difficult decision to make and we will see you again for the show in 2021,” said the spokeswoman.
