Grants Available From Foundation

The Community Foundation for Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath is seeking to award grants to the community from its unrestricted fund.

The typical range for a successful grant application is $500-$2,500. The total pool of unrestricted money available is typically less than $20,000 per grant year.

Applicants should show innovative and practical solutions to community problems, especially those not currently addressed by another organization. Applications are due by Aug. 1, and can be completed online at www.cfrba.org/grants/grant-application/.

Exemplary applications will show a well-planned approach, base of support, efficient use of resources, involvement of underserved constituencies, as well as coordination with other nonprofit organizations. CFRBA grants are usually awarded for the accomplishment of a definite purpose within a specified time period - normally no more than one year. All applicants should be a qualified 501c3, not-for-profit organization.
