Free COVID-19 Testing In Lexington May 29

The next mobile COVID-19 testing event in the Rockbridge area will take place on Friday, May 29, outside Maury River Middle School in Lexington from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free tests, conducted by the Virginia Department of Health in conjunction with the Virginia National Guard and local emergency services, are available to everyone on a first-come, first-served basis. No insurance is needed and no appointment is needed. Residents do not have to have flu-like symptoms to get tested.

Everyone is asked to wear a mask.

The first COVID-19 testing clinic in the Rockbridge area took place May 18 in Raphine. Additional clinics are being planned for Goshen, Buena Vista and Natural Bridge.
