Dewey Maynard Fainter, 89, of Buena Vista passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019.
Born Sept. 17, 1930, in Rockbridge County, he was the son of the late Alexander Haden Fainter and Mary Smith Fainter.
Dewey served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
