Blues Fall At Narrows In Regular-Season Finale, 41-7

Friday, Nov. 8 – The Parry McCluer High School football team suffered a 41-7 loss in the regular-season finale at unbeaten Narrows in Pioneer District action on Friday night.

The Fighting Blues (3-7 overall, 3-2 district) scored the first touchdown of the game on a 2-yard run by John Snider, followed by an extra point kick by Jacob Wootten but the Green Wave (10-0, 5-0) then scored 41 unanswered points. Keaton Coleman led the Blues with 112 rushing yards. Chad Blaker rushed for 121 yards and two TDs for Narrows.

In the Region 3C quarterfinals, the sixth-seeded Blues will play at third-seeded George Wythe (7-2) next Friday at 7 p.m.
