BARBARA SIBOLD

Barbara Anne Montgomery Sibold, 86, of Goshen passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, at her home.

Born March 25, 1936, in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late George Everett Petty and Radie Montgomery Petty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Fay Sibold Sensabaugh; brother Don Garland Montgomery; and partner Danny Goodbar.

Barbara was a member of the Goshen Presbyterian Church and retired from Kool Dry Inc. with over 30 years of service.

Surviving are her children, David Blair Sibold (Sandra), Phil L. Sibold Sr., John Mark Sibold (Diane), and Stephanie Sibold Alphin (Timmy); brother, James Petty; five grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted Friday, Nov. 18, at Kerrs Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Claudette

Welcher.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be given to Rockbridge Area Hospice, 315 Myers St., Lexington, VA 24450.
