Audrey W. Palmer, 92, of Lexington died Sept. 26

 

Audrey W. Palmer (Wetzel), 92, of Lexington, died on Monday, Sept. 26, 2022.

Audrey was born on Dec. 10, 1929, in Trenton, N.J., daughter of W. Enos and Maurine B. Wetzel.

Audrey was a 1951 graduate of SkidmoreCollege and married Henry P. Palmer Jr. on June 10 of that same year. Hank predeceased his wife in May 2020 after 68 years of marriage,

Throughout her adult life, Audrey was an active member of her community, donating her time to the Mercer (N.J.) and LowerBucksCounty (Pa.) hospitals, the American Cancer Society, and other volunteer organizations. Audrey sat on the boards of The Florence Crittenton Home (Trenton, N.J.), the BucksCountyCommunity College, the Bucks County Board of Mental Health, and the Clinton Township (N.J.) boards of Elections and Planning.

Audrey is survived by her four sons, Henry P. Palmer III, William W. Palmer (Patricia), Timothy B. Palmer (Louann), and Bruce B. Palmer (Lucia); and eight grandchildren. 

No services are planned at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Cookie Scarfers Anonymous.
