Tuesday, Aug. 29 -- The Rockbridge County High School volleyball team recorded another straight-set win over Parry McCluer as the two squads faced off in Lexington.
A 5-kilometer road race and a kids’ fun run will kick off the 52nd annual Labor Day Festival in Buena Vista on Monday, Sept. 4. The races will take place prior to the downtown parade and will raise funds for the Parry McCluer High School cross country teams.
For this Friday’s season-opening football game between Parry Mc-Cluer High School and Rockbridge County High School, taking place at Bobby Williams Field in Buena Vista at 7 p.m., gates will open at 4:30 p.m. Home and visitor gates will be open, but all passes and online tickets must go through the pass gate at the fieldhouse. No passes or online tickets will be allowed at the visitor gates. Presale tickets will be available at RCHS and all four Buena Vista schools every day this week.
