Friday, Feb. 14 – The Rockbridge County High School boys basketball team suffered a 62-51 home loss to Turner Ashby in the Valley District quarterfinals on Friday night in Lexington.
Friday, Feb. 14 -- Eastern Montgomery clinched the Pioneer District regular-season girls basketball title with a 48-39 victory over Parry McCluer High School in Buena Vista.
Thursday, Feb. 13 -- Friday night's regular-season finale for the Parry McCluer High School girls basketball team against Eastern Montgomery in Buena Vista will now tip off at 6 p.m.
The Parry McCluer High School wrestling team had two individual champions and placed fourth of six teams at the 1C sub-regional tournament on Saturday at Grayson County High School in Independence.

In its final home game of the regular season, the shorthanded Rockbridge County High School boys basketball team fell to Valley District rival Broadway 35-32 on a 3-point buzzer beater on Tuesday of last week in Lexington. The Wildcats (8-12 overall, 2-7 district) followed that contest up with a 64-31 loss at Spotswood on Friday.
