The third show of 2021 brought approximately 250 horses to the Virginia Horse Center last week for the Lexington Country II hunter horse show. Despite the pandemic, the number of horses at the show and at other VHC shows in recent months is actually more than usual, reported CEO John Nicholson. The VHC, instituting strict COVID-19 precautions, has “proven to be an attractive place to show,” he said. Spectators are still not allowed at shows. (Cynthia Frazier photo)
