For those familiar with the Rockbridge area theater scene over the past few decades, an indelible memory stands out of Ginger McNeese soaring over the stage in the old Troubadour Theatre, playing the part of Peter Pan. McNeese, a veteran of dozens of theatrical productions on local stages who is moving away from Lexington, the place she’s called home the past half-acentury, has left many such memories in her wake, say colleagues and close friends Robb Mish and Joellen Bland, who, respectively, direct Washington and Lee University’s Lenfest Center for the Arts and Virginia Military Institute Theater.
