Virginians will have the opportunity to vote early this November, thanks to bipartisan legislation passed by the General Assembly this year. Registered voters in the state will be able to vote absentee without needing an excuse, beginning 45 days prior to elections. The first election that this will be in effect is the June 23 Virginia Republican primary, and voters will be able to request absentee ballots for that election this week.
