Editor’s note: This is the first in a series of stories looking at studying in a pandemic from the point of view of some of the students at Rockbridge County High School. The series is being written by Hope Huger, school correspondent for The News-Gazette who is a senior at RCHS.
One notable achievement for the city of Lexington this past year was the adoption of a revised comprehensive plan that provides a vision for the future and guidance in decision-making for city officials. The adoption was the culmination of a nearly two-yearlong process in which the Planning Commission met 17 times and conducted multiple outreach efforts that resulted in engaging many citizens in productive discussions about the city’s future.
