When The News-Gazette asked on Facebook once again for photos from Christmas morning, nearly 70 families responded with photos of their children, including the Macheras family who posted this photo of 2-year-old Thea opening gifts with help from dog Duke.
Because several church families were exposed to COVID-19, worship services were canceled at High Bridge Presbyterian Church this past Sunday by our Reopening Task Force Group. Services were shared virtually and will continue this way until further notice.

Lexington City Council Thursday voted to authorize a four-year program for inflow and infiltration remediation, otherwise known as “I&I remediation,” which the city hopes will result in reduced sewage costs and greater ease of economic development.

The Rockbridge Symphony presented its second outdoor event of this pandemic year Saturday with its “A Rockbridge Symphony Brass Christmas” concert at Hopkins Green. Led by music director Yi-Ping Chen (at left, above), the brass players offered a variety of traditional songs and Christmas carols, including “Jingle Bells,” during which audience members were invited to jingle their car keys (as seen in photo at left).
