Donation From Farmers Co-op

The Rockbridge Farmers Co-op donated these tools and more to the Buffalo Creek Boys School recently. “Buffalo Creek Boys School is grateful to Rockbridge Farmers Co-op for their generous donation of assorted tools that enable the students to apply math and physics skills towards designing and building various projects,” said Rebecca Taylor, assistant principal and teacher.

Businesses, Church Step Up For 2020 Christmas Baskets

With the help of numerous community partners, Rockbridge Christmas Baskets (RCB) is gearing up to carry on the tradition of neighbors helping neighbors this holiday season. Food insecurity at the holidays is a reality that roughly 1,100 local families faced last year. Thanks to a tremendous level of coordination across many organizations and volunteer efforts, Rockbridge Christmas Baskets was able to deliver nearly 40 tons of nutritious food to households in need.

On The Fall Trail

The businesses (and museum) of the North Rockbridge Trail were busy Saturday during the Fall Harvest Trail event. There were special activities at the different sites, including an antique car restored by Bob Bolling to represent the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office sitting outside of the Brownsburg Museum (below) and living history musicians at Wade’s Mill (bottom left). Among the other scenes from Saturday on this page were ones photographed at Lavender Fields at Tantivy (at left and at left in middle row) and another from Wade’s Mill (bottom right). Marlbrook Players Present ‘Classical Three B’s’

Collierstown

The Buildings and Grounds Committee of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church has scheduled an outdoor cleanup day to remove leaves and trim shrubs on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 8:30 a.m., weather permitting. Volunteers are welcome to come and participate.
