Washington and Lee University’s eighth annual Souper Bowl, a fundraiser for the school’s Campus Kitchen Backpack Program, was a rousing success this past Sunday. “We had around 800 people in attendance,” said Ryan Brink of CKWL. “And while we are still confirming the total raised, it looks to be right around $10,500.” The event this year, held at Evans Dining Hall, brought together a host of restaurants, catering businesses and organizations including The Georges, W&L Dining, Heliotrope Brewery and the Lexington Golf & Country Club.
