On Sunday, Jan. 9, the Collierstown Presbyterian Church will resume in-person worship in the church sanctuary following the cancellation of the Jan. 2 worship service due to COVID-19 concerns. The Rev. Carl Pattison will lead the 11 a.m. worship service as the interim pastor of the Collierstown Presbyterian Church. The congregation would like to invite the community to join the church’s members for worship and fellowship as Rev. Pattison assumes this leadership role.
AARP Chapter 2071 will begin having meetings again at the VFW on U.S. 60 across from the Poplar Hill Exxon station beginning Saturday, Jan. 8, at noon. Anyone age 50 and over is welcome to attend. Please call Marjorie Austin at 261-1552 by today, Jan. 5, so she can get a head count for lunch. Future meetings will be held on the first Saturday of each month.
There will be a congregational meeting next Sunday, Jan. 9, at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church after the morning service to vote on a budget, elders, and a trustee.
