Over 365 people attended the talent show at Rockbridge County High School sponsored by the school’s newspaper, The Prowler, on Nov. 19 A total of 11 competitive acts performed, and the show ended with a noncompetitive dance, The Prowler 5, performed by members of The Prowler staff.

Richard Smith’s last day with Lexington Public Works was celebrated with family members and co-workers on Nov. 21. His official retirement date is Dec. 1, after having worked with the department for 28 ½ years. Shown with him is Lexington Public Works Director Patrick Madigan.
