Weldon Franklin Dudley, 79, of Buena Vista died March 6

Weldon Franklin Dudley, 79, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Buena Vista.

Born December 1, 1930, he was the son of the late Lewis Dudley and Beatrice Ogden Dudley.

He was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Charlotte Dudley; one son, Tim Dudley of Buena Vista; two brothers, Louie Dudley of Fairfield and Leslie Ballard of Richlands; one sister, Ruby Ramsey of Buena Vista; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Christian Becker. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
