Victoria Jane McGee, 63, of Greenville went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 3:16 & I Thessalonians 4:13-17) on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at her home.
Born Jan. 1, 1950, in Baltimore, Md., she was a daughter of the late Roy Lee Burke and Leda Joe Mullins Burke.
Mrs. McGee was a member of the Marlbrook Baptist Church and co-owner of Centax Tax Service.
Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Cecil F. McGee; two daughters, Celena Kaye Tomlin and husband Corey, and Serena Faye James and husband Jason; four grandchildren, Dakota Tomlin, Austin Tomlin, Jordan Weikel and Chris Weikel; one great grandchild, Brianna Weikel; two step-grandchildren, Brandon James and Bonnie James; one step-great-grandchild, Hayden James; two brothers, Kenneth E. Burke and Dennis D. Burke; one sister, Gail Burke Harrington and husband Russell; and special cat, Cassie.
Her homegoing service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the Marlbrook Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Ramsey and Pastor Larry Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Old Providence Presbyterian Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Marlbrook Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Vickie to the Marlbrook Baptist Church, 6926 N. Lee Highway, Raphine, VA 24472. Arrangements are being handled by Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
