Thomas Andrew Jordan, 63, of Raphine died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at Augusta Medical Center.

Born Sept. 11, 1955, in Marlington, W.Va., he was a son of the late Roy Jacob Jordan and Margaret Brown Jordan.

Thomas attended the Asbury United Methodist Church and was employed as a mechanic with White's Truck Stop.  He also enjoyed being a mechanic and had a passion for racing cars.  Thomas was known at the race tracks by "Tom Cat." He also worked as a part-time logger in previous years for Smith Logging Company.

Surviving are the love of his life for 28 years, Linda Brown; children, Andrew Jordan of West Virginia, Royale Brown of North Carolina and Craig Brown of Brownsburg; siblings, Linda Daugherty, the Rev. Lucy Jackson Hughes, Ernest Jordan and Joyce Hughes; two grandsons and one granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lucy Hughes officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made in loving memory of Thomas to the Asbury United Methodist Church, 31 Academy Alley, Brownsburg, VA 24415.
