PM Netters Sweep EastMont

Tuesday, Sept. 19 -- The Parry McCluer High School volleyball team picked up its third straight win, downing Eastern Montgomery 3-0 in a Pioneer District match in Buena Vista.

Savannah Snider totaled nine kills and nine service aces to lead the Fighting Blues to a 25-10, 25-13, 25-23 victory over the Mustangs. Jade Rowsey collected 22 assists for PM, while Chloe Persinger tallied seven kills and Channing Balser finished with six. With the win, the Blues improved to 3-1 in the Pioneer and 3-8 overall.

Faith Tes paced EastMont with four aces, and Paige Johnston notched three kills.

PM returns to the court at Riverheads on Thursday, with the junior varsity match slated for a 5:30 p.m. start.
